Drama Awards Review!

Happy New Year.. like one week late! Sorry, I just need to feel like 2017 is really here to start writing again.

My top 5 best drama of the year

1. Age of Youth
2. Another Miss Oh
3. Memory
4. Signal
5. Jealousy Incarnate

Special mention : Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo because it only ends in 2017.

I'm going to do a review on the 3 main awards that happen at the end of 2016! I only cover the ones relevant to me, because I didn't watch ALL.

MBC

Daesang ; Lee Jong Suk

Although there is controversy regarding his acceptance speech, I didn't there's anyone else deserve the award better because the nominees are not exciting.

Drama of the Year ; W- Two Worlds

I didn't finish the drama. It was confusing on the later half of the drama and I didn't quite like the first half anyway.

Top Excellence Award : Lee Seo Jin and Uee

I really need to watch Marriage Contract.

Excellence Award : Lee Sung Kyung

Totally deserved it. She is Kim Bok Joo!

New Actor : Nam Joo Hyuk

He improved a lot! He made a lot of viewers cry with him and that's a really good sign.

Best Couple : Han Hyo Joo and Lee Jong Seok

Are you kidding me MBC? Not our Joon Hyung and Bok Joo couple?? Dang I am mad.

This award show gives out waay too many awards. Geez pick one! Better yet, I will pick for you! Here is my pick.

Daesang : Han Suk Kyu

D'oh. He is more than deserved... the award is made for him

Top Excellence : Jo Jung Seok and Kim Raewon, Park Shin Hye and Gong Hyo Jin

my bad.. even I find it hard to pick one but at least I tried! Both Doctors and Jealously Incarnate did well, I can't choose either.

Excellence Award : Yoo Yoon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin

I'm bias but I think they rightfully deserved it.

New Star and Teen Star award made no sense to me, I'm just gonna skip that!

KBS

This award is the only award I manage to watch, and after that.. I tried watching the other 2 and it was just painful to watch, in SBS Lee Hwi Jae is annoyingly not funny and filled with PPL. As for MBC award.. I don't watch much of MBC dramas.

Daesang : Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo

Expected it.. but should have given to Park Shin Yang. These two can just go win Top Excellence and no one will complain. Heck, they can also give it to Heo Jung Eun and I will be so satisfied.

Top Excellence : Park Shin Yang, Park Bo Gum and Kim Ha Neul

Eh.. Didn't expect Haneul to win but congrats anyway! Park Bo Gum is doing well indeed,

I agree with the other category so skipping that too.

Best Couple : Lee Se Young and Hyun Woo, Lee Sang Yoon and Kim Ha Neul, Ra Mi Ran and Cha In Pyo, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, Oh Ji Ho and Heo Jung Eun, Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung, Kim Ji Won and Jin Gu.

WTF is wrong with people choosing Heo Jung Eun and Oh Ji Ho as nominees to begin with? Should have been Five Kids Sung Hoon and Shin Hye Sun instead! Everyone wants the award and it's such a fun award. Should have omitted Park Bo Gum and Kim Ji Won who sadly were alone on stage because both partners were sick. Song- Song couple deserved it for sure because they even won best Asian couple!
