Right now get PSYched

2010 sure saw a lot of veterans coming back. This feels like the old Kpop, back when I'm not a fan yet. The music seems fun and I think it's a great song for the club scene. I don't really like this song but it was okay.

Okay so right now, this is my last post until December. Thank you if you still visit my blog although I'm not active. I hope you followed my HallyuSurfer Twitter!

Now, I got to concentrate on my project. Bye~yeom!

Norazo by Lee Hyuk is Calling you

I love this kind of performance Music Bank! More of it please!

Norazo is famous for the comedic antiques and funny concept for their song and it surprise me that this is actually their song! It's different but I love their video are still fun. I hadn't really got into the music but I do know some of their song.

The song is sort of the serious side of Norazo. This song is a solo act by Lee Hyuk but as you could see in the video, his partner is supporting him with violin. I'm sorry, but I hate the female rapper. I want another rapper.

MPV Review : SNSD Hoot

Sorry for not blogging much although November is coming. November will be a busy month for me so I'm glad SNSD is back before November!

Music

When I first listen, I didn't have much thought. It's just good, and I have nothing bad to say. I like the mixture of modern beats incorporating with the spy music. A clever sampling technique to fit the whole concept of the song. The voices are expressive as it fits the emotion of the song. It's a little theatrical but subtle. The "hoot" part started as annoying (which funnily reminds me of an owl) but as I listen more of it, it's catchy!

Level of Likeness : 8/10

Performance

The stage could have been better and the outfits were my least favorite! I really love the choreography! It's so fun to watch and I am already imagining gagman to parody this later on! The girls looks so gorgeous..It seem our dear Hyoyeon didn't get much screen time again, mr. cameraman(or woman)..I tried so hard to find her! Seohyun eyes are still dull, I want more emotion in her eyes but I can see she's trying. Sunny's blonde hair didn't quite suit her...

Level of Likeness :8/10

Video

I think the video is perfect. I wasn't expecting Choi SiWon..ehehe and he did great! I was hoping the other guy was Heechul! I love the lift concept, I felt like everyone has an equal amount time on screen! The background is probably too colorful but I like it. My only complaint would be the lighting..it made the video is a yellowish hue..which isn't a nice color tone, but I guess it adds a vintage feel to it.

p/s I just realize something. This is my last MPV Review of 2010! Whether or not I'm going to review this year other comeback/debut I'm not sure. I hope you enjoyed my not so professional review, in the same time I like to apologize if I had hurt anyone's feeling through my reviews. Thank you.

Miss A is Breathe

Take a few element out, I might like the song better. I find the composition too messy and all over the place. I'm surprise it was compose by JYP, because it's very different from the previous music he has made.

I can't say I love this song now, but I grew to like it better because of their performance. Jia's rap was good, I thought the rap parts would be done by Korean but she's good! I wish they stop damaging Jia's hair again.

The group is set to debut in China soon and I wish them all the best. Hallyu FTW!

My Kpop list part 2

I'm really not satisfied with the previous post and had to make some changes. It's a good read for me for future reference in case I might need it. So here's part two!

This time I make it simple, with just top 10

10. Romantic by SHINee

Forget about the awful Engrish ("Still I have romantic in my heart"...Really?) this song is beautifully compose with some addictive elements. Was it the voice made the song so timeless or perhaps the music was very romantic? When I first heard it, I cringed. I love Engrish but not on romantic ballad songs. Though I think more about it, it's actually charming. You stuttered when you're confessing your love and this Engrish is probably just the silly mistake you make.

9. Into the New World by SNSD

To be honest, I didn't find this very addicting..I got bored after a few listen. I forget all about it until I saw an interview about the lyrics of the songs. This song happens to be the debut song of SNSD and it's a really great debut song. I believe this song made SNSD the group they are today. The lyrics are perfect without being cliche. I listen to this song whenever I need some confidence boost.

8. Tell Me Why by Untouchable feat. Hwayoung

Hip Hop and raps are definitely not my genre. There are days Hip Hop sounded great but most of the time I got bored easily. This song is the exception, I listen till I get sick of it. I did eventually and thought would never want to listen to this song anymore. It's more than a year already and I still listen to this song.

7. Wedding Dress by Tae Yang

First of all, I have to say sorry to the V.I.P. (especially to you) but Taeyang was my least favorite member. During the earlier days of Big Bang, I often saw Taeyang out of breath at his part and worse I have heard him crack in the high notes. It's pretty discouraging because vocalist doesn't have much part in Big Bang. I can't tolerate vocalist who can't sing well! If your title is vocalist, I expect no flaws at all. That all changed when he did this song. Wedding dress has been a great comeback. The song was made to fit his singing style and he deliver the emotion well. TaeYang improved a lot and I like him.

6. Ttok Ttok Ttok by 4Men

The song started with the chorus before the first verse was an interesting composition. I like the arrangement of the song because it makes the song have more familiarities. It a sweet confession song with a meaningful lyrics.

5. Gee by SNSD

If you say you love Kpop but you hate this song, let me just think you hate Kpop. You are not allowed to hate this song. How can you hate this song? I don't care what you think but this song defines Kpop. Why is this song no.5 then? Because it's MY list.

4. Holding Back the tears by DBSK

Yes, I didn't include this song on the previous list but DBSK has too many song for me to remember. Another reason, I wasn't think as hard like I am now to write this post. This song is the OST of the drama "Vacation". This song was written by my favorite idol, Micky Yoo Chun himself and yeah, by that very fact I listen to this song. I love the song itself tells a solemn story and now I couldn't hold the tears anymore. I'm just sad whenever it's a DBSK song.

3. Sorry Sorry by Super Junior

Top 3 isn't easy. I had a lot to think of but I finally decided that I had to include this song. This is another song that defines Kpop. It has all the element of what Kpop means. I believe many had become Kpop fans because of this song. This song has the auto-tune, the addictive hook, the cool dance moves that everyone wants to learn and not forgetting it was done by Super Junior.

2. Lies by Big Bang

How could I not include this guys? This song brought the new evolution of Kpop. Rappers got more parts and the usage of heavy bass and Auto-tune has become a staple beat of Kpop. Big Bang always had something fresh to bring to the Kpop industry and please Big Bang, do a comeback already!

1. Miracle by Super Junior

I may have talk about this song over and over already. This is the song that made me a Kpop fan. If I never heard of this song, I wouldn't be obsessed with Kpop. What is entertainment for you? To me, it's the pleasure of seeing the brotherly love among group members. My love for Super Junior is eternal. Although Han Geng is no longer with SuJu, I know he's always had Super Junior in his heart. Ki Bum maybe M.I.A. forever but I know he does that so other members can have more spotlight. I <3 SuJu.

There are so many songs I wished to be include in this list. I made this list with much thought and consideration. I tried to include songs from Bi or Boa who are legendary but that is not the Kpop I've come to love. It's MY list and that's the fact. Kpop maybe more famous for their dance choreography but what I love most about Kpop is the songs. Many have asked me, "How could you like Kpop when you don't even understand it?". I don't know how to explain it but Kpop makes me happy and laugh. :D

This is the toughest post ever. I love Kpop a lot and it's really hard to list it out just a few of them. It's entirely impossible feat! When I got inspired to write this post, I thought "Hey this is easy post, I should write about this" but as I type it out on this blog space..I just stared it long and I couldn't come up after no.1 (btw it's Super Junior's Miracle) so how should I go about it?

Mata Perang

A little Malay language learning today, Mata Perang means "Brown Eyes". Mata means Eyes and Perang is Brown. This is another Kpop post, I want to diversify a little bit but I love Kpop so much. What "brown eyes" got to with Kpop? There's 3 things!

Brown Eyes

This is a duo who never perform in public, though they actually sold an impressive amount of albums. It's a pity they don't because their vocals are awesome! I remembered they won on Music Bank on 2008 and fell in love with the posted song. I pretty much memorize the song!

Brown Eyed soul

I'm always confuse with this group and Brown eyes because their names is similar with Brown Eyes and their music too but it's actually a group consist of 4. Their most famous single is Nothing Better. I didn't know this until recently because I thought it was SHINee's Jonghyun song!

Brown Eyed Girls

Perhaps the most famous out of the three listed. Brown Eyed Girls don't need any introduction. They got famous from Abracadabra single which till today I didn't like. I really like them before the whole abracadabra! I love them individually not their music now. I guess fame made them worse. LOVE is my favorite single by them and wished they had stayed the same concept.

Trivia : I have brown eyes!

Supreme Team Then Then Then

If it's not Untouchable, I don't care much about hip hop duo. Call me ignorant but I'm faithful to my favorite male duo! TS Entertainment, please make them comeback soon.Their "Merry Go Round" single is awesome, I want to see them perform live please! I've been waiting forever for the new album to release! Oh yeah, this post suppose to be about Supreme Team. I'm sorry.

Supreme Team debuted last year, but as mention above..I didn't care much but I did enjoy their feature with Brian for "My Girl" single. Supreme Team rise to stardom with Simon D revealing his girlfriend and recently E-sens was rumored dating T-ara's SoYeon.

The soulful chorus and the smooth raps works really well. The song rhythm reminds me of Brown Eyed Girls L.O.V.E. Now that I think of it, I would like to hear a female singing instead. Kpop has always been filled with Engrish, especially Hip Hop but this song doesn't contain any English at all!

Good song, I like this song.

SunWoo feat. 4Men Ear Nose Mouth

Bae Dae Hae rival has debut as a SINGER?? I'm so late in news lately..(what else is new?) I also have to fix my habit of fast forward on recordings of Music Bank. I didn't yesterday, and I stumble upon her performance.

I was confused for a while because I know her as Seon Woo, not Sun Woo...For those who don't have basic Korean knowledge probably think it's the same but it's not. I had to do some research before confirm it's really her. I wonder if she's still with Entertainment Weekly or not but I hope so. She's a charming reporter!

Her voice is gorgeous! I'm not loving the video..the extreme close up shoots are giving me the creeps! The title is interesting too..I don't really understand so I have to watch with subtitles for this song. During the performance only one of 4men is performing but all of 4men are in the song! The beats of the song is classy, not exactly my favorite beats but I love it!

Random Talk : Blogging VS Project

It's been bothering me for quite sometime that I'm in my final semester and I should be concentrating on my project but I'm worry about my blog. In addition to that, I don't know if I would have the time to blog in December for the annual countdown.

Last year I was hectic as well with college works too but fortunately I manage to post it all. My college project is the ultimate project so I cannot neglect it for my blog! What would be the best decision then?

I've decided to not blog on November. I will only blog once for the intro of the countdown and that's it. The whole month of November I will be concentrating on the countdown so by December all I have to do is hit the "publish" button. Which also means that this month I will try to write as much as I could..It's already 22nd, so I don't have much time.

Wish me luck for the project okay? :D

A Yoo Chun update

I have mixed feeling about this, I'm so sad I can't hear ChangMin and YunHo in this..but I love the song very much. I have yet to listen their songs as I'm so sad about it. The MV is gorgeous and not too much spoilers.

Another story is that it was rumored Yoo Chun and MinYeong in a relationship! OMG.. but of course they denied it. Please let it be, I can't let go of him to another woman. Micky Yoo Chun is mine! Micky is so popular today as he just arrived tweetland today! Cassie worldwide manage to get #mickyyoochun trending no.1 international.

his tweetname is a mystery to me.. 6002theMicky?

His birthday is on 4th June 1986, what could 6002 mean??? I know his favorite number was 0 as seen in Balloon MV. Hemmm..what could it be?

ZIA & 4Men

When I saw Zia and 4MEN names together, I knew that I would love this. I did!

It's a nice collaboration, I love their voice together and the song is beautiful.

Rainbow Mach

Okay, I'm going to stop the whole drama thing (read my previous post) and put it all behind. So this is real review, not mixed up with other issue.

Gossip Girl was horrendous, and I don't mean the Engrish. Engrish don't bother me because I find it charming. I don't like the lyrics and it was an annoying. As for A, I blindly hated it initially but after few listen, it was more than bearable...it was catchy. My only complain is I don't get the meaning of "A".

Now they come up with a new single called Mach. I have no idea what it suppose to mean but I saw their promotional pictures and I shake my head. Futuristic clothing isn't a nice sight. I was going "here we go again, a song filled with auto-tunes"

I didn't want to check them out because I predicted it will be a song filled with much hated auto-tune. As mention, I don't have good memories of Rainbow so I don't want to continue hating if the song isn't good. I changed my mind when I read Wanna Play

Contrary to their outfits, the song is more retro. It's a decent song without auto-tune! Maybe it's just me but the song didn't feel like it was sung by 7 singers. The main vocalist can belt out high notes but it's a little squeaky or it's like she's singing through her nose. If she improves her technique, it can be a nicer tone.

It doesn't have a strong hook but it's fine. I can't wait for the MV to release so I can understand the song.

Drama Discuss : SungKyunKwan Scandal

WARNING : Contain Extreme Fangirlism :P

Yeah, I'm so dramatic. I've tried my best to keep off from being too crazy fan girl but it's hard with this drama, hence I hereby announce I will continue blogging like I used to. Commenting every episode would be a torture for you. For the last time, get out of here if you can't stand stupid fangirl. :D

SungKyunKwan Scandal (SS) is THE BEST DRAMA.
.
.
.
.
.
Okay I'm back. Sorry, I fainted for a while because I was thinking about the awesome cast. I don't want to talk about the scene too much because I don't give great spoilers so if you want them, head to Dramabeans.com. (links can be found on KBlogz) Here in this blog, I'm talking about the main cast and character only.

Park Yoo Chun  as Lee Seon Jun

Look at my header and you'll know I'm a Chunnie Fan, so I'll be crazy not to watch this. He is the first main character I loved! (I'm usually the second lead lover) Yoo Chun initially received bad criticism about his acting but he's getting good reviews now! I didn't find any flaw about his acting (you can blame my biasness) but I really like his character. Lee Seon Jun personality is somewhat similar to mine. He's all about keeping his principle and dares to use radical moves to proves his points. Of course, with this kind of personality you don't get much friends because it seems like he's a stubborn fellow. WOW, this is the male version of me! Okay maybe not, but I'm Malaysian...we all "tak apa". :P

Park Min Young as Yoon Hee/Yoon Shik

Aha, look...PMY has two names..what could it mean? Yes, it's a cross-dresser theme yet again! I really don't buy PMY being a boy because she's too pretty as a girl. There isn't a moment that I felt she was a boy. Her false boy voice is a little annoying but she doesn't make it hard. Despite saying this, I think she's a good actress. Minus the being a boy thing, I could feel her emotion and I love her characters. I think she is the luckiest person ever... surrounded by guys but she's the only girl..OMG!

Yoo Ah In as  Moon Jae Shin aka Guh Roo (crazy horse)

I actually prefer calling his nickname..Guhroo!! An interesting mysterious character, I just wanted to know more about his past life. His gaze can brings a lot of meaning and I love the fact he's a "bad boy" but he is very innocent when it comes to girl. His friendship with YongHa is interesting, I wonder how the writers would play this off.

Song Joong Ki as Goo Yong Ha

The mischievous upperclassman, I wanted to hate his character but he's so lovable funny. Everytime he smirks, my heart pounders... In terms of acting, Song Joong Ki would get an A+. I would never thought he could play this role. I love that he's suppose to be bad but he's a good person. I know he's always there to help the freshmen.

Jun Tae Soo as Ha In Soo

The enemy of the show, he hold the highest rank in the school. A very cruel person but he's too charismatic to hate. I do hate his character, but one moment he can be so nice, the next second he turn evil.

It's so crazy that I love all four characters...I have done all the crazy fan girl would do. Drool? check, face slapping? check, jumping up and down? check scream?OBVIOUSLY.

Haru, an unforgettable day in Korea

In efforts to bring more global tourist to Korea, the government has cleverly utilize the Hallyu into the marketing scheme. Started with Super Junior and Girls' Generation with S.E.O.U.L song, 2PM's Boom Boom and now a movie to add in, which is Haru.

Haru is a movie starred by Lee Dae Hae (Chuno, My Girl), Kim Bum (Boys over Flower), YunHo (DBSK), Han Chae Young (My Sassy Girl ChunYang) and Big Bang.

For the video please check it yourself on YT, I don't want to embed here because it might get remove soon so yeah but here's the LINK anyway.

Do I like the movie, Nope. It didn't deliver any good message for me and plus, it totally didn't make me want to go to Korea. Yes, I would go Korea to meet the celebrities, but how ironic it is that the celebrities in Korea are often go overseas to promote? To meet them, probably I would have a better chance if I were to go Japan or Thailand.

Rising Star, Bae Dae Hae

I started watching Qualification of Men recently and it's currently on choir episode which I love! It introduce me to an amazing rookie singer named Bae Dae Hae of Vanilla Lucy. Vanilla Lucy is a quartet that has three music instrument players and one vocalist that debuted this year. I don't think I've check them out since they didn't have much publicity but I do know about the group.

This particular clip caught my attention, it made me had goosebumps when she hit the high note. The song title is Nella Fantasia which was in Beethoven Virus. It's the choir main song and I love the message of the song, very beautifully done.

Her audition clips is awesome too, but I missed this episode! I wished I can see the other's audition too. I don't know much Korean but the choir conductor said that her voice is beautiful, I can't agree more! However she didn't get the solo part because she was sick with flu. It's okay though because she did a great harmonization with Seon Woo.

I didn't quite like their concept, it's something different but it's boring. She could have gone solo but what difference it could be? She's already some sort of doing solo now. The other single is boring as well, perhaps if she were given a better song, this group can get more attention.

DJ DOC I'm a guy like this

This is way overdue. I wanted to blog about them earlier than this but it slips off my mind. Better late than nothing, here's what my thoughts on DJ DOC

Along side with Psy, DJ DOC is known as the favorites in college summer festival. Without this acts, the college festival wouldn't be complete. I've seen footage of them on college summer festival and I can agree on that. I know them through variety shows too and they're funny...however that's all I know about them. It never registered in my mind to check them out because I thought they had retired so I was surprised they made a comeback.

Looking at the video, DJ Doc likes to parody other musician. It's funny and I guess it's their style. I'm not a big fan of this style but I'm looking forward to know other singles. The music is fun and the lyrics are true, it's nice to know other types of music! :D

San.E is Tasty!

With pictures like this, I was intrigue about what San.E music is like. All I know is he's a rapper.

This song was a bit too much for me, the lyrics and the bright rhythm..but I slowly like it and thanks to Min of Miss A, I love it. The chorus is addictive and the lyrics are playful. I didn't like the MV but the above video which shown on Music Bank is way better. This video should have been the MV! Pay close attention to the video, it speaks literally about the lyrics.

MPV Review : Beast Soom

Someone needs to update on me this, has Beast changed its name again or is Allkpop making a mistake by naming them B2st? Yes, they initially named as B2st but it later changed officially as Beast. B2st is simply a style like ZE:A which is formally known as Children of Empire. It's confusing but it irritates me to have wrong infos on my favorite boys!

Music

I'm not going to lie, I didn't enjoy this song. I was left disappointed because they didn't promote a ballad which they teased us with. However they won, I guess this concept works for them but I want something different. The song is similar concept to their previous single "Shock" which brought them success and I can understand why they pick this song their main single. Another flaw about this song is the intro, I don't mind the heavy breathing effects but I don't like the similar 2PM Heartbeat intro plus DongWoon's belting vocals. It's just puts me off that I actually stop after that, I never did this to Beast's other song.

Level of Likeness : 6/10

Performance

Yeah for DongWoon didn't sing his part in the beginning! YoSeob is flawless! I love his voice and it suits the song well. I have seen him with black hair but it was so weird seeing this new hair. I want the blonde hair back! Everyone looked good...HyunSeung ah, why must the stylist give you odd hairstyle? You're known as a prince back in BB days...now you're, I don't know..DooJoon's hairstyle is not much different from day 1, I want to see him in something else.

Level of Likeness :  9/10

Video

Must.Love.Video. Okay I'm back on earth.

I love the sets, the choreography, the scenes and almost everything! I don't like their style but I can get over that because all it matter is the face...they've come a long way!

Which drama?

I got so many excuses for you the reason I have been neglecting this blog. First, it's One HD fault, I've been watching the channel everyday without fail! I never watch this much TV in my life! Second, I'm busy with project and lastly I'm lazy. Now here's my apology. Sorry! LOL

The channel didn't seem like it came from SBS because I've been searching for the website but I can't find it. Plus the subtitles are in BM...which I probably guess Astro handles it. I don't know for sure but I'll try to find out more details about it.

So this week was hectic. Sungkyunkwan Scandal premiered on KBS World this week and being Chunnie's fan, I made myself sit down to watch the drama. It's a traditional drama so I wasn't really up for it but thanks to the cast I did watch it. It's not my first traditional (term?) drama, I've watched HwangJinYi before which I did like.

Then on One HD channel, I watched Daring Woman and My Girlfriend is GuMiHo. Daring Woman started off really great but my favorite character left the show so I was sulking about this drama...it's a daily drama so there's no way I'm going to comment on every episode for this.

Baker King Kim TakGu (Bread, Love and Dreams) ended this week, which means Rain's Fugitive: Plan B will premiere next week. I'm looking forward for the drama despite low ratings because it got Rain, Lee Jeong   Jin and Daniel Henney...obviously I'm in for a treat!

As the title goes, which drama shall I comment on for every episode? I'm enjoying both My GirlFriend is GuMiHo and SungKyuKwan Scandal. To do both will make me too busy for life...I'm leaning towards SungKyuKwan Scandal because it's convenient for me as I had recordings of it.

In another news, I know I have a lot of MPV Reviews need to be done, and urgh I notice more comebacks and debut are here...I want a remote control NOW!

MPV Review : Se7en I'm going crazy

Yo Teddy! You can produce this kind of songs too?? Thank you so much for leaving auto-tune out of this song. Now I can enjoy the original voice of Se7en!

Music

With Better Together and Digital Bounce overload with auto-tune, I wasn't expecting to love this song...actually I was going to skip it. Thank you for releasing a beautiful MV or I'll probably wouldn't have listen to this. It's slightly acoustic with a touch of modern beats. Se7en voice is beautiful too, didn't expect it so I love it more.
Level of Likeness : 9/10
Performance

I didn't know that this song was hard to sing but at least he didn't lip-sync. The concept is nice but I don't like the background visual, I would like it to resemble a park more since the stage has park bench. In my opinion, the dancer acts as his memories so it does work too but I think it would make more sense if he acted as a narrator.

Video

Park Han Byul is gorgeous! I really love her in Everybody Cha Cha and I'm so happy to see her with her real boyfriend in life Se7en! First thing I got to say is, poor gold fish... I wonder if it survived. The plot goes well with the lyrics but as much as I love the plot I wished they leave out the dialogs in the middle. I want the song uninterrupted. Some didn't like the mv because it's sad but I like it. Look at Untouchable Sleepy and Hwayobi...they had a really cute video but they broke up. This couple knows that they don't have to worry about showing this side of their relationship to the public.

The new design

It's back to what I have used before, from the color choice to the layout style. The previous layout was resulted in laziness of editing, the only thing I like was the 3 column layout. However I decided to revert back to 2 column because I want more emphasize on the blog post rather the widgets.

I got crazy with the color but I don't want to chase away my male readers. I choose grey as the background because that's my current favorite color. For some reason, I always had purple in my blog...but I choose a less girly purple this time. I didn't like pink but it binds well with the whole layout so I shall leave it like that. I wanted to have darker background with brighter fonts however this seems more professional.

The only thing I don't know how to fix is the link for older post which you see on top right side of this post.

I'm not exactly loving it but it's okay. I probably will change when the time permits me to do so

MPV Review : SHINee Hello

I'm trying to limit to write on MPV Reviews because I want variety for my blog but it's hard because there's so many songs I love to talk about. For SHINee's Hello I couldn't pass because I already did for the previous single.

Music

How should I put this...it's not exactly catchy but I'm already humming by the first listen. It's probably because of the hook "Hello". I like the "hello" part was put more emphasize on Onew voice because it made soothing to listen. It's definitely a nice change from their previous single.

Level of Likeness : 8/10

Performance

Nothing is better than to see smiling faces in performance. I love seeing their cheery faces on stage especially Taemin because he look weird when he frown. I didn't know Minho and Taemin had vocal parts...I was caught off guard with Minho's voice when I listen to it. When I haven't look at the performance, I was wondering who's voice was it. Taemin's voice is a little similar to JongHyun.

Video

Not much of a storyline but there are good scene that shows the gesture of the song. The camera works are nice, I like the cameraman plays around to match with the song rhythm. The MV reminded me of Super Junior No Other MV..I think it's the same concept where the video can be seen as a personal video to the lover. Smile can melt anything. :D

MPV Review : Wheesung I even thought of marriage

Back when I didn't know much about Asian music, I once watched WheeSung on MTV and didn't like his voice. I don't like the tone of his voice, it's very deep that it sound fake. With just that one song, I avoid his music. As I become more aware of Kpop music information, I notice a lot of people praise WheeSung voice in comments so out of curiosity I check it out again. I find it hard to like his voice but I love his song so it leads me into liking him.

Music

The intro was good enough to pull me to listen the whole song. The rhythm of the song is very theatrical, it feels like it could fit in a musical show. The orchestra instruments execute a dynamic feel on the song that it gives more emotion of this song. I love the composition of this song though the lyrics can be improved. The introduction become odd as it's a little too hip hop.

The performance was a little boring. I wish he played a little bit with the choreography to make it more classy instead of RnB. The only good thing I could say is his vocal is amazing. I do think he stresses on the singing more because you could see his vein while belting out.

Video

I've said this countless of time, I want story line in MV. I don't know how else am I to comment on this video because it's all about the dance and outfits only while I already did that in performance. A MV should be at least have an elaborate sets if they're going to this kind of video. I have seen similar sets countless of time and it bores me.

I love this song!

Sistar grows on me. I love this song, it's so fun but it's not annoying. I love the message of the song. "I make an effort to be with you". I hope guys know that girls do go through so much pain to look beautiful with this song.

The MV is weird but it's fun to look at. HeeChul with the girls look soo odd. He's too pretty!

Samsung Galaxy S Review

When I first started researching for a new phone, I tried hard to not fall into buying iPhone or BlackBerry because it's too popular, I don't want to have the same phone as the person next to me. I'm Korean crazy so naturally I looked into Samsung and LG. Samsung had a lot of choices for me, LG was limited and I wasn't impressed by the design. Over a week I compared Samsung phones before deciding on Samsung Galaxy S. The funny thing was, I pointed at Galaxy S ad in KL as a joke when my brother ask what phone I want. I eventually got it!

My first phone was Nokia, it was too popular that my friends didn't have to ask..and could tell me how crap it was. I love Sony Ericsson that it was my second and I love it so much that my 3rd phone was another Sony Ericsson. The 3rd phone made me avoid Sony Ericsson phone at all cause! I hate it within the 1st month. Galaxy S is my fourth phone and hopefully could last more than 5 years. The longest was 4 years with my second phone. I truly regretted that I sold it.

My first choice during the research was Samsung Omnia HD..everything was perfect, the multimedia part was awesome and I had no complain until I got to know about the software part. Google Android was the big reason I choose Galaxy S. I do know that the camera function for Galaxy S wasn't impressive which is the reason I forget about it but I realize that I don't need an impressive camera, all I truly wanted was good internet. With the Google Android, I could get more experience of how great internet really is.

My review for this phone will be simple, here it is.

The Best
1. Android Market

Free Apps is more than the non free apps.

2. Interface

Love having HOME and APPS screen separated. I don't have to go through all the apps to search for something because Home is my shortcut. I love it's editable for my convenience. My first home screen has my most used apps and the second home screen is to control my battery life and memory used.

3. Swpe

It's fun to type with this app. I can type faster and making virtual qwerty keyboard more bearable.

The Good

1. The size

Just perfect. 4-inch screen is great to watch any type of video. The weight is light and easy on the hands.

2. Screen quality

It is fantastic but I do hate it's very similar to the TV upclose..you can see the pixel colors and I don't like it.

3. Battery Life

Considering the way I use the phone, I expect it to finish a day but it last longer than I had expected. It's all thanks to the power control that enables me to enjoy longer battery life.

The Bad

1. Plastic cover

I'm glad I have a casing for the phone or I'll have to stare at my fingerprints on the back all the time. I would love it if it was more solid but it does help it makes the phone lighter

2. Camera Function

I'm not a good photographer so I don't really mind about having no flash but I'm shocked to discover that there's no zoom!! I have a bad eyesight so often I like to use zoom to view something in the distance..The front camera is so bad in quality I don't see the point of having it.

3. Phone calls

My phone keep on cutting off...If I hold it wrongly it would cut off midway. I'm still trying to figure out the proper way of using it.
