Nickhun of 2PM was discovered by JYPE at a Korean Festival in LA in 2006.
Tomo and HaiMing of A'ST1 were discovered by Lee Hyori Stylist (taking notes peeps!) on 2005 and 2006 respectively
Alexander was noticed at a hotel fitness club during his visit to Korea in 2007 to see his family.
It was difficult for all of them. They all went to Korea to become they idols they are today where they entered the new country between 2005-2007; and up till now, they are all speaking Korean fluently. They’re all capable of Korean speaking in slang, some writing here and there, and can even swear in Korean! The hardest thing for them while learning Korean was learning the pronounciation. As Korean artists who are not of Korean descent, they have to work extra hard to gain popularity not only from the Korean public but all of Asia as well.
Dreams
Nickhun would like to act and possibly going Hollywood
HaiMing wants to perform in China and dedicates in to his mom (How sweet!)
Alexander wants to make it big and known back in HK.
Just a note, Only Nickhun and Haiming doesn't have Korean blood.. Tomo and Alexander is half Korean. Being non-korean as well, I do admired their choice.. it's hard to make it in your own country but they willing to risk it!!
I just remembered, Dara should be in this interview as well! She's Philipino!
One day.. We shall see a Malaysian, I am going to give my full support to whoever made it! (alang2 biarla tu Malaysian org kadazan..barula impak!)
