I'm hating EXO Wolf

Title is mostly based on the song, this not anti site.

I have mixed feelings about Wolf I can't finish the MV but the Mnet Countdown performance was bearable. Minus the noise, I enjoyed the performance. I think the parts are evenly divided. Maybe it wasn't but I didn't go "where's xx" at all. SM really nailed that part. Some other group have less members and it was so obvious that their parts were not evenly distributed.

I think I've read reviews on the snippet since last year... Apparently there are fans leaking it, which angers the producers. I figured maybe SM is trolling with us. There's no way it's going to be about wolf...right? So months past, and uptil yesterday I was still hopeful that this just some epilogue or teaser stuff. Obviously I'm wrong. The song gave me an impression that SM is testing waters with us. It is definitely a SM thing to do. They always seem to experiment with stuff.. I wish they did the same with Super Junior. Everything lately sounds bits and pieces of Sorry Sorry.

I tried to finish the song but every time someone howls, I automatically stop the player. I've done this to other songs a lot of times before but never this bad. I want to so badly to like the song but that howl has got to go! Sorry, I can't properly review it.

The choreography is probably my favorite this year. It was super powerful and I like it highlight each members. There's more people on stage but it wasn't messy. I'm just glad it's all 12 on stage not like Mama.

The biggest mistake was Kai's hair. DON'T MESS with THE FACE's hair! Come on, he has like the most teaser last year, and you mess with his hair? Not cool, not cool! I didn't like Sehun hair either. He doesn't look like the guy who would volunteer to have that kind of hair.. Maybe Chanyeol would be better to do that. Speaking of which, that guy look different again. Took me double take to recognise him.

Stop making reaction video!

I tried watching those video hoping it will be funny like eatyourkimchi or finebros' react video series but no, it's literally just watching people watching video. Vlog is the way to go, or like me blog about it!

I can't find Kpop videos without having reaction video on the result. At first, I thought cool, non Asian likes to watch Kpop...but I already know that from Allkpop, which I believe had lots of Non Asian fans judging from the comments.

Speaking of reaction, I can SLAKPF (speak like a Kpop fan) on it. If you watch Korean variety shows, you would know that reaction is a big part of talk show. That's why there's numbers of guest to make the show lively. For example Star King has a lot of "judges", the guest spot is often a challenge for comedians, idols or actor because everyone wants to take part. Only guest with talent or great reaction will be allowed to be guest. Which actually a part of the show I don't like.. It put less spotlight on the actual contestant.

Another thing why reaction is so important in variety show is the PD (Program Director) often like to pick exaggerated reaction on film because it looked better for the show. Guest always overact so they got better screen time. If your favorite guest didn't show up on screen, his/her reaction was weak. Korean shows love reaction a lot so much you will see them in slow mo, added effects like "!!!" or "대박" or "OMG" across the screen. More often you can see them repeatedly in different shots.

To all the "reactors", it's better to just do a Vlog, commenting on what you thought of the video. You can take eatyourkimchi as a guide but don't blantly copy everything! If editing video isn't your thing, do commentary as you watch.

Hyeri and Tony Ahn

I don't know what to feel.

Girl groups aren't my thing, but lately Girls' Day caught my attention because I think Hyeri is gorgeous in Don't Forget Me and Yura was my fave in Expectation. H.O.T wasn't a group I know well since they disbanded before I was a Kpop fan. I have seen Tony on variety show and old clips but that's it.

I dislike the idea of big age gap relationship but who am I to say anything... I just find them weird. Let see how long this relationship last but I rather them not being together for long.. It's just not good image for her.

IMPACT TO DEBUT!!!

Yes the horror of caps lock, but that's how I FEEL!

I didn't want to blog yet because no date was released yet but I was angry at the top comments on Allkpop for not leaving nice words. Sure, there were some people commenting on Byun Jang Moon, whom is my favorite already but I have to blog because I'm so excited.

Impact is a male vocal group from Star Empire (Jewerly, ZE:A, Nine Muses) with members Van, Sungho, Junghu, Jangmoon, and Pilrib. For now, I'm just going to talk about Byun Jang Moon, because I only know him. He is the former member of A'ST1 whom I really really love. His voice is easily on my top 3! It's not only me, but go to any A'ST1 old videos, you are bound to see people talking about his voice. The tone of his voice is unique, there's something about it that make me go crazy. He is the reason I love A'ST1. I was completely devastated when they disbanded. Miss you so much Sung In Kyu oppa, RIP.

There's no one else I wanted to redebut more than him, so when I got the news back in 2011 about him redebuting, I was excited but this Star Empire only debut him now, well about time!

That said, I understand the fan who were against Star Empire to debut this group. I clearly remember how DSP debuted Rainbow and neglect A'ST1... They had so much potential to be great but no, girl groups was more popular that time hence Rainbow got more attention. However, this is vocal group! I really hope it stay that. Byun Jang Moon can dance but no, don't ruin my chance of hearing more ballads from him. I would be very sad if his part is short.

On the bright side, if Impact daebak, it will naturally benefit ZE:A, Jewelry and Nine Muses. IT MUST BE GREAT, PLEASE!

Psy is not a Gentleman

Well, it is true looking at the video..lol

In short, I don't love it. The music isn't something I would voluntarily play and the video was not funny..my humor is weird so there's that. For me the whole thing felt like recycle. I always like familiar things but Psy Gentleman felt like a bag of ideas that I already know.

I would have stop watching at the part where Psy unties the bikini string, because that's borderline offensive for me. I only manage to finish up to end without seeing behind the scene footage. BTS stuffs are something I avoid..I rarely watch bloopers.

After a while, the video reminded me of Nice Guy video by NigaHiga, KevJumba and Chester See. That was good. Maybe I get their humor more than Psy version. Psy was being rude in a way I can't laugh about. It's like laughing at someone falls down, which is mean.

I know why GaIn was selected as a cameo but I wish she didn't. It reminded me too much of Abracadabra (I know that's the point) that I can't help but to compare it. Why not go all out by inviting all of BEG members? Why only GaIn?? Is it necessary to include all Infinity Challenge members? I don't watch the show so I can't relate. Haha and Jae Suk was good but still meeeh, seen it.

For me, I think it could have been done better. I think Psy had all of these ideas that he wanted use and I would say to drop some ideas. Mostly stuff that reminds us of Gangnam Style.

Random update

Because I can.

At this point I am so not sure if i could board the plane or not. There's new obstacle everyday. The trip suppose to happen in a month.

I wish I could blog comfortably but it's so hard because Kpop just give me reminder about this whole trip which makes me headache. Expedia, you ruined my life.

Anyway, since I'm already writing.. Let me do a quick review on stuff. I didn't quite like Phantom's "Come as you are" despite the featuring with Verbal Jint. It's just not my style of music with all that jazzy feel because I hate jazz music. It's difficult to explain because to be honest I describe song I don't like as "jazzy".

As if I need any more reminder, Korea is now in the spring season.. Kpop is filled with many spring theme songs. Busker Busker is sure big this time round, wow. 2AM ballad is fine, not really catchy but good. K.Will's Love Bloosom is not my favorite of his. I really like him singing more sad song because his voice has this great sad quality. Infinite Man in Love isn't exactly "spring" but the feel is definitely spring like. I like the song but it doesn't stuck in my head for some reason. I keep on forgeting the beats....

I'm actually worried about the N.Korea threat. I do know it's common for them to give threats every now and then. However it feels different this time, not because I'm actually probably going to S.Korea but Gaesong closing and their warning for foreigners to evacuate makes me feel anxious. With Chinese tourist no longer entering N.Korea, the income of N.Korea is becoming lesser each day. Not having money can make people go crazy and I'm afraid it will get crazy.

I hope N.Korea can reconsider their decision, not fighting with their neighbours but to come together to share.

I'm loving Nu'est Yobeoseyo 요버세요

The title is in Korean because they have a different song with the title Hello. Yup, way to confuse the international fans. A little info, you greet someone in person with Ahnyeonghaseyo 안녕하세요, but on the phone, you say Yobeoseyo.

The members are quite young, apart from Ren, I didn't find any factor that makes me want to learn more about them because I don't have much space in my brain for all the kpop idols. I still at least try to listen once of their song. Yeah, finally a song I like!

I'm more of a dance ballad fan than faster song so this fits right for me. The thing that caught my attention was the choreography, it was different that usual with all the props and more interaction with background dancer. Haha, to be honest..all I wonder was how they were going to Random Play Dance to this song. It's a popular segmen on MBC Weekly idol where idols have to dance on spot to song that are randomly play in different parts.

I don't know the members name yet but their vocal were good in the song, I was attracted to the first guy who sing. His voice totally capture my attention. I guess he shines better in slower song because I hardly notice him before. I'll check other past video to be sure.

Whether you like ballads or not, do give the performance video a try.. The choreography is fun to watch. I would skip the MV.. It didn't do much for me.

SLAKPF : Idol

Let see how this goes, I've been a Kpop fan since 2006 and technically I am a sunbae (senior) in Kpop fandom. I like to share my Kpop knowledge to many rookies out there. This post is Speak Like A KPop Fan! You don't need to be fluent in Korean to sound like a Kpop fan, you just need to know the meaning and you're good to go!

For this first post, the first topic is IDOL. It's no brainer really, without idol.. Kpop wouldn't be the thing you know today. Idols are so common today, more than 80% (totally made that up) of the singers on today kpop music program is saturated with idols.

The word "idol" is an English word, and yes it does mean like what you read in the dictionary back in the days when idols are first introduced in Kpop scene. My generation probably cite H.O.T., g.o.d., Sech Kies and many more in the late 90's group as idols. Older generation would probably refer SoBangCha (Fire Truck) and "Seo Taiji and Boys" as originator. I didn't experience both since I only a Kpop fan in the late 00's but from what I have learn, it was mad crazy.

I could go on and list all the craziness of fans do back then but this post will be long. To give you a picture, have you seen Michael Jackson concert videos? That is tame compare to Kpop idols concert. Belieber fandom are pretty crazy too, but Kpop idols are crazier times 100. Koreans are extremely passionated people. While no one get assasinated, there were incident of almost poisoning.Basically, idols are literally idol.

Today that meaning change. Idol of today is define as a group of either female, male or co-ed singers. The numbers of members are varied typically from 4 to infinity, current largest membered group is A-Peace, a whopping 21 member. Lately trio groups are considered idols but not common.

Although the term idols is not really what it originally meant today, some bigger fandom do experience a high level of craziness. Sasaeng fans are individuals or sometimes group of crazy fans that would stalk, harass and a whole lot of dangerous thing towards their favorite group. DBSK had the worst Sasaeng fan experience. The sasaeng are known to follow every move of their idols, to the point of chasing cars, trepassing their house and hack their personal info.

Top 10 Idols you must know (rank by seniority)
1. Dong Bang Shin Ki
2. Super Junior
3. Big Bang
4. Wonder Girls
5. So Nyeo Shi Dae
6. Kara
7. SHINee
8. 2PM
9. Beast
10. Infinite

Daniel, Marijuana? That's Nonsense!

Did you see what I did there???? DMTN! ㅋㅋㅋ

Ahem, excuse me. I was trying to sound like myself...instead of boring reporting.

This is written based on one article, so this is my first reaction. I totally did not see this coming. I had to rub my eyes and read twice when I first saw the news on allkpop. I scan through the comments, clearly no one has yet to claim they knew/suspected it. I can't wait for netizenbuzz to post the Korean netizen reaction next. I've been refreshing 10 times already.

I'm not the biggest DMTN fan, but I support them because they were from MC Mong agency. I was upset they left the company but understood the decision. Hemmm..by the way, If DMTN can, why not Block B? That's for another post. I am especially supportive of Daniel, because he is Yoseobie friend. WHYYY DO THIS TO ME?!

I've seen him trying hard to audition, saw clips of him on Strong Heart, Oh My School and Qualification of Men. The point is, I know DMTN members are working hard for every opportunity. I wanted them to succeed somehow because hardwork should pay off.

Imagine how I feel upon reading this news..this is completely at the wrong timing. Am I hoping this will be fake? Sure..but the damage is partly done. The company already stated that the matter is complicated than it is seen.. No denial. That's all I need to know.

I guess it's shocking because Daniel seems to have that good boy image. I can't even imagine him smoking to be honest. Yeah, news flash..I'm so naive. He is reported to sell too, there goes my everything. I am starting to feel sorry for those Kpop idols, but this time I can't defend him.

I just hope everything will be alright for the rest of the members. Daniel, I am disappointed.

UPDATE: according to netizenbuzz, reps denied smoking but admited to selling..well okay then, that's like worst. Huhu

Kdrama Talk : Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek

I do like this drama but don't have that longing to watch it. You know how you feel about your favorite drama, like "nooo.. I have to wait another week!!" this drama did nothing like that for me. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy the drama.

Perhaps because I studied multimedia, I like the aspect of advertising interludes the drama. Some of the ideas are predictable..lol maybe just me? But I like to be right. :P The thing the drama lacks right now is love line.. I wish it was a little more than just friendly kind. The past stories can give a miss and erghhh why make me hate Han Chae Young!!! I will never forget her in Sassy Girl Chun Hyang! I wish she wasn't so spiteful.

Park Ha Sun is so pretty! I can't help but smile along whenever she smiles. Even if this drama sux, I would continue watch for her and.... GO CHANG SEOK! I was so happy to see him in the drama. That's like a sealed deal for me. I like his personality a lot, especially in 1n2d and Running Man! so glad his character on the drama is just like him!

I recognize the foreign worker, he appeared in 1n2d.. His Korean is so good! This drama has two idols, but don't matter since both are only playing small part. Secret's SunHwa is playing TaeBaek's sister and Dalshabet's Ayeong working at GRC. For fun, both of them are love rivals.

It's a light drama..like it's not going to make you bawl but there are touching moments. It's funny in some parts but not tummy pain funny. It's a good filler between drama in a good way.

I'm loving SHINee Dream Girl

SHINee's Back!

We get it MinHo, it was fun in Sherlock but this time too? I guess Minho needed more part.

SHINee is one of the groups I loved since debut, I've seen so many quirky outfits by SHINee, it felt like uniform. I feel so happy to see those bright colors in their outfits! The song is so SHINee, I don't even know how to explain that meaning.

The song sort of remind me of their past songs, when they were less famous (before getting no.1 on charts) only this time is so much better! Now it felt like each member had equal parts and Taemin sounded like Taemin. Back when he first started to have more parts, he kind of sound like Jonghyun. Thanks to his stint on Immortal Song 2, I actually can recognize his voice. There is not single part of the song I didn't like, overall I really like it. I'd say it's actually less impact than their previous song.

I didn't like the MV, because the effects are driving me crazy. The choreography is slick! I love the mic and without it, it was not overdone. SHINee will never disappoint when it comes to dancing.

I'm loving BAP One Shot

What a return! At first, I didn't want to check this out at all...because I'm still at "Stop it" phase.. I still want cutesy BAP!! And can we just let them rest? I thought HimChan injury would make it clear but no, they are still on stage working it.

Anyway so I can't help but to check it out, and I love every single beat. It has all these interesting catchy part and it sound cool. I usually hate "uuu" part but this was so cleverly used. This song made Baby (yup, FC name) remind why they were a fan in the first place. It has the same vibe as their debut single and it's so BAP.

The lyrics are predictable with funny Engrish but hey, having flaw is good because everything else is perfect. What I like the most about this song is that every member had impact on their part. You don't go, "where member X" or "member Z has too little part" yes line distribution should be fair in the first place but if you manage to get a strong impact with one line, I'd say that's good enough.

One Shot choreography is SIIIICCKKK. The "push up" routine was so spot on. Of course, magnae Zelo part is the best. That's GIF image worthy right there. I feel like only BAP can pull of their dance move because they owned it.

Lastly, PLEASE HAVE A LONG REST BAP!

The Baby all over the world need time to save money! ㅋㅋㅋ

SBS Kpop Star 2 rant

I just watch the Battle round episode, and I cannot accept the fact they eliminate Yoon Joo Suk! The guy is talented, he can play the piano beautifully and he has that ability to control his voice! I really dislike the comment "emotional-less" given to him because no idols of these 3 companies are perfect in conveying emotion all the time. It's a competition, you get tension and nervous at the same time. It is so hard for me to understand their decision.

As a fan of music, sure emotion is important in delivering the song but for me technique is king. You just lost another talent right there. He just need some experience from the real life to get those emotion flowing.

Top 10

1. Bang Ye Dam

As the youngest in the group, I think he should have wait until puberty strikes. It's kind of tricky since male normally change their voice when puberty. He would need time to adjust to his new voice later because his voice now is not staying forever.

2. Choi Ye Geun

I don't like the tone of her voice, it's too unique for me. She plays well on the piano but will she be okay with just singing? I feel like the judges are most focus on her piano playing and mannerism rather her singing. It's no surprise since the judges are dancers

3. Sung Soo Jin

Never thought she would made this far, she indeed made an improvement. For me, it's just feel average. I don't get this show anymore, is this a boot camp? The fact a contestant improve is more important than having someone talent. What a joke.

4. Lee Jin Woo

I think I need those headphones too because I couldn't share the same joy when she entered Top 10. She's alright but that's it for me. I don't think she did anything remarkable.

5. Andrew Choi

Aigoo, feel sorry for him la. He should have joined Superstar K since this show seems to cater younger contestant. He has an interesting warm vocal that is easy to the ears. I'm not sure if he would succed well enough in the business alone but putting him in a group is weirder. He stll has that aura of a person working backstage.

6. Kim Do Yeon/Shin Ji Hoon

Doyeon withdrew so Shin Ji Hoon replaced her. Now this is ironic. What did the judge felt when she sang the last time round? Did they feel her wanting to move on?? Her song of choice is perfect for her but it has parts that are flawed. JiHoon, for me is great for what she is now. I think she should have focus on figure skating more. She's still young and having to attend to both is not only hard for a child, but adults as well.

7. Racoon Boys

I wish they had different name. Heh. I have no idea why I can't seem to agree with the judges..okay, specifically JYP. He said that MinSeok is a great rap writer. I don't understand Korean so I skip that but don't he sound the same in 3 different song? Brian and McKay did something different each week but the rapping style by Minseok feels the same. Acoustic is lovely on stage but I think they need something fresh.

8. 2000 Won

I like the guys but the judges kept on giving harsh review. It's so funny because YG doesn't compose/write songs, JYP is lousy with Hip Hop and BoA is not Hip Hop. I don't think any of them understand the genre well. I think they would have the most success out from Kpop Star 2 later on.

9. YouU

The name... Anyway, the girls were better in SM since SM are good with girl groups. I absolutely adore MinJoo and Soyeon. The rest are just OK. I understand why many didn't like them but I feel they could easily be molded to be a good idol in today's industry.

10. Akdong Musician

I would absolutely hate it if they end up working for any Big 3. I think the companies would have destroy the group. They were good before YG started interfering. I believe they're still young, have more room for growth but maybe by themselves.

Kdrama story

My main passion is Kpop so this blog is more about music than other stuffs but I like to be balance with my blog. In this post is how I get to know about Kdrama.

My very first Kdrama was Autumn in my heart, which could have been the reason why I'm obsessed with the season. That or maybe because I love yellow color lol. If I was born in Korea, it would be autumn. Song Hye Kyo was so beautiful and Wonbin is my first celeb crush!

I could tell this story in so many ways that I just don't know how to start. My parents don't let me watch TV on weekdays during school time and thankfully this drama was shown when my exams were over. I don't know if it's because it's the first drama I watched since a long time or simply it was different from the TVB (Hong Kong drama) that I'm used to because I was so excited about the drama. My friend who caught an episode like the drama but couldn't watch it because her family wanted to watch different channel. Everyday I would have tell her what's going on and eventually wrote the summary for her because I am a bad storyteller and forgetfull. That piece of paper is being circulated in class. I feel proud to perhaps introduce Korea to others! (U ingat lagi ah? Time darjah 6 tu..lepas upsr?!)

I've watch a couple of drama since then, Jang Nara was so influential for me, I just love her! I also like Goong and Sassy Girl, ChunHyang. Good times! These are on a differenf post.

KBSWorld started premiere in Malaysia and I think the first drama I watch was Bad Love. It was forgettable...but I finished it for Kwon Sang Woo. It was my first time watching a Korean series not dubbed and it was weird. Since then, I try to catch up with the latest drama.

Another first, Coffee Prince was the first drama I watched close to real time. I thought it was significant to add because I remember going to YT every week to watch the drama during my biggest exam year. It was risky business I tell ya. It didn't matter to me because it is still one of my favorite dramas ever! 2007-2008 was a good year to get to know YT, back then google haven't bought YT which was awesome because you got no problems with copyright issue. YT was famous but not as famous like the present times. I'm still sad whenever my favorite uploaders got suspended. Boohoo.

As times goes by, the number of Kdrama to watch keeps growing. You literally don't have enough time to watch every single Korean drama. Unless you never sleep or you have no life. I love Kdrama but sleep is king.

Kpop Meme

Because I'm totally free, stole from tumblr.

Around the World with Mizz Nina feat Jay Park

Finally..... I can say this. I support my local music scene! Lol

I knew this since last year because @HallyuM (Kpop happening updates in Malaysia) tweeted about the rumor of Mizz Nina to collaborate with a Kpop artiste. I figured Jay Park right away because they shared the same stage on MTV World Stage in Malaysia last year. Then @NazimOthman confirmed my prediction, he is a Malaysian actor who is a Kpop fan.

If you wondering why the single is in English, Mizz Nina has been trying to breakthrough International market. I'd say she's popular in Malaysian Radio but that's it. She had Colby O Donis and Flo Rida collaborated with her in the past. She's good but ya know I'm busy with Kpop to listen to other stuff. She's famous for being the daughter of one of the richest person in Malaysia and is married to Noh, a singer in a band called Hujan. Fun fact, Hujan means rain.

Around the World is produced by Chacha Malone, part of Jay Park AOM crew. I love the song except the part when there's no singing part, because it feel like the beats are just put together randomly, possibly to make way for choreography? Jay Park raps in Korean is sort of surprising, will they perform in Korea? I wish Mizz Nina would slip some Malay just to balance it out. The lyrics are pretty disappointing, it lacks creativity (the part "I want to touch the sky" is meh) and I have to point out that Malaysia-Korea travel doesn't require visa, unless you stay more than 90 days. Yup, I googled.

I'm really interested on what other's think of the song. I know it will be played in Malaysian radio but will it reach Korea? This is sort of out of ordinary.

Learning Korean

I am happy whenever I see my twitter timeline and understand the Korean tweets. I don't understand all but it feels like an achievement.

Before I was a Kpop fan, I was more into Japanese culture because I grew up reading manga. I read less but part of me still love manga a lot. I had a group of friends who were into Japanese cultures as well. They were more advance than me, they know some Japanese phrases and can write in Japanese. I thought it was cool but never bothered to pick up the language.

I always think if I'm going to learn a new language, it has to be Chinese first. It is my ultimate goal to master Chinese. It's a complicated story but I wish someday I would be very fluent in Chinese!

However, as I become a Kpop fan.. Learning Korean was a natural process. I started to learn Hangul first because I was jealous at non kpop fans who had their names in Hangul on Facebook. Suddenly I wanted to know how to write my name in Korean. Btw it's 밀리. ㅋㅋ Hangul is really not that hard, I started with 안녕하세요, 사랑해 and 오빠.

While Hangul is easy, speaking Korean is hard. I know the difference between Jeondaemal (Formal) and Banmal (informal) but there's saturi (dialect) too. There are many ways to express a simple sentence. For example Thank You can be Kamsahamnida, kumapsumida, Kumawoyo, kamsahae or kumapta. My spelling seems odd but romanize Korean is not easy too. That's why I resort to type in hangul, because it look better.

Now I speak some Korean to my dogs. None of them understand Korean yet, but my dogs are already bilingual, so no pressure. Lol If I'm alone, I mostly mumble in Korean and when I watch Korean drama. Instead of studying like an exam, I prefer learning Korean naturally. It's a slow process, especially when I don't talk to a Korean or live in Korea.

Is it necessary for Kpop fans to learn Korean, nope. Music is universal language but there's no harm in studying hangul. Fighting!

Rest in Peace Sung In Kyu

Cancer has robbed yet another star from us, I'm so sad when I read the news. You know how they say, "no news is good news"? I knew InKyu was sick back in 2011..it really did feel like it was yesterday I read that news. It's so unfortunate that the next news was this.

Sung In Kyu was a rapper in a group called A'ST1 (pronounced A Style) debut in April 2008 and disbanded in November 2009. Their songs were 1,2,3,4, Back, Dynamite and Yearning of the heart (Boys Over Flowers OST). Please do watch their radio videos..heck watch all of their videos. It's not that much, since they only active for a year. I love every single video available on YT.

A'ST1 was my favorite debut in 2008.. Yeah, I love them more than SHINee, 2AM, 2PM and others who debuted in the same year. It's so ironic how I got to know them, DSP is a stoopid company who made lousy marketing move. Before the influx of foreigners in Kpop, SuJu was the first group to have a foreigner in the business, HanKyung. By having Tomo (Japanese) and Hai Ming (Chinese) in the group, DSP market them as a challengers for SuJu. It angers SuJu fans, including me because well, anyone could have misunderstood the concept.

So here I was prepare to protect SuJu to comment A'ST1 on YT..remember I am 17 back then, lol. Instead I fell in love with the group. Haha 반전! Twist ending. 1,2,3,4, back was my song! It was a catchy song and the boys sound awesome. Since then, I become a fan and you could imagine how angry, sad and frustrated I was, when DSP announced their disbandment a year later! I hated DSP so much, I even hated Rainbow. I felt DSP didn't treat A'ST1 properly like Rainbow. Ah, in case you don't know.. Despite the level of fame now, Rainbow was one of the popular debuts back then.

I still love the group, so I try to keep up to date with the group members. Jungjin appa is preparing debut with a new group in Japan, Tomo is hosting a show in Japan, HaiMing went back to China, HanByul is part of Monday Kiz and last time I check, Jangmoon is in Star Empire to debut as Impact. Star Empire......is so late. The news is old, please give my JangMoon debut.

I remembered the letter back in 2011, the one that InKyu wrote to tell his condition. i was already upset then, since before his announcement..there weren't any updates at all. Turns out he was sick. In the letter, he mention he wants to be on stage in the future. It breaks my heart, the dream was not fulfilled. This is so upsetting. Part of me, still feels this whole event is unreal.

인규 오빠, 사랑해요.

Thank you for all the joy you have given me in your lifetime. I really hope the other members will succeed for you. A'ST1 fighting!

ㅜㅡㅜ ...... T_T

My title cannot be more random than that! Anyway, if you don't get it.. It's emoticon for tears. In this post I'm discuss/review two hip hop song with tears in the title.

Bae Chi Gi feat Ailee "Tear Shower" 눈물샤워

It's super hot on charts and I've seen lots of people raving about it. It's keep on getting 2nd on Music Bank, I hope they win because charts are like so predictable. I want to hear them indies do some Thank You speeches! I like the rap parts but not the chorus. I know... How could I hate Ailee's part?! She is indeed, amazing but I dislike the "lounge feel" or the "old feel" of the song. It's just not my cup of tea. I've heard various K Hip hop, it's nothing to shout about, but it's good.

LeeSsang feat The Seeya's Eugene "Tears" 눈물

Coarse/ Husky kind of voice is kind of tricky for me, I sort of like it sometimes but at times I feel like giving Gil a huge bottle of water. It definitely is not boring, though. Lol. As seen in Running Man, Gary is smooth with words. I love the song, it easy listening and catchy within the first listen. I'm anti CCM so it was really hard to review Eugene, hmm..she definitely sound helpless as in good for the feel of the song, I think she's a good vocalist but in some parts on the higher end is making me cringe. It sounded sharp, I think Baek Ji Young would have nailed her part so much better.

P/s sorry for spelling errors if any.

Supearls disband

What a disappointing decision made by YG and the girls.

There has been rumors of discord with Lee Michelle few months ago, maybe its part of the reason of disband. What's the real reason, nobody knows.

As a fan, I'm truly disappointed for having hopes on this group. It was a highly anticipated group from Kpop Star. I think YG thought Lee Hi wouldn't fit the group and without Park Ji Min, the group is not as good.

I would have prefer this news broke out after Kpop Star 2 ended. It feels weird to watch Kpop Star 2 now. YG better not let me down again with Lee Seung Hoon. I'm still waiting for him to debut.

In another news, I truly don't want Akdong Musician or Racoon Boys to debut under Big 3. I feel like the Big 3 would make them focus more on "audience" rather than music itself. I think maybe SM won't sign contract with anyone this year as well.

Koreamie~!

Hello! It's end of May and this my first post of the year. *nervous laugh It's okay..because nobody read this blog right? haha. ...
