Doctors versus Beautiful Mind

I wished these dramas are not on the same time slot but if I had to choose, I would probably watch Doctors live and Beautiful Mind on the reruns.

Now that the high school love story is out of the way, I can comfortably swoon over Kim Rae Won and Park Shin Hye together. I never thought their chemistry would be so good. Based on description before the drama premiered, I had some reservation with the pairing because I remember watching Kim Rae Won acted when I was still in school! He is like an ajusshi to me. Park Shin Hye is of my generation so I thought there is no way this pairing would work.

I wished the high school love story serves as a nostalgic memory.. but watching it so real made me feel uncomfortable. Never mind their real age gap is 9 years, a student is a minor and the portrayal should have a clean clear line. While I'm so happy to see the progress being quite fast, I thought that reunite is still lingering a bit inappropriate.

But both are legal now so I am just going to forget that.

As for Beautiful Mind...sigh.

I'm willing to overlook inaccuracy because I'm not a professional. However the methods used in the dramas is a bit overboard and dangerous is an understatement,

I'm watching out of curiosity, it may turn to be the most ridiculous medical drama.

There isn't one character I'm attracted to. I never quite like Jang Hyuk and Park So Dam character is my least favorite type. She has no sense and acts rashly. I can't get this type of character. I think her character is just very messy.

The biggest problem in this drama is that I tend to forget which side character for which drama.  I also don't like both are neurosurgeon. So many department...yet both choose neurosurgeon.

Entertainer

I'm dropping the drama because I have other better dramas to watch.

It is not engaging enough for me to commit to the drama and I feel terrible because I don't drop often. The last drama I dropped was The blue bird house, which was a weekend drama.. It's 50 episode long, and I watch like more than half.

Is it really bad that it made me dropped a drama? Despite all the plot twist and strong character profile, I just can't seem to want to like the character or their story. I feel like their flaws are not suitable for their character.

I think it's a case of too much of everything at once that it made me loose interest. One was falsely accuse of rape, one is a single father, one is a mama boy and one is just spoilt brat.Where is that air to breath? Harsh but I hate all the character...maybe except the guitarist, Kyle. He is the most normal one. ahhaha.

Mama boy doesn't bother me too much but somehow I don't buy L.Joe playing a Mama boy.. Kang Min Hyuk character is frustrating. Please writers, don't tell me this boy is a good student and then let him not do anything about his false accusation.

I only watch up to episode 6.. maybe it does get better but for now... I will not finish the drama

YooChun

I can't believe that this would ever happen to my favorite bias ever. Granted that I was lesser of a fan today than back then but it hurts so bad because he is one of the reason I stayed in Kpop for so long.

The feeling I have inside is just enormously overwhelming. I am mad that he possibly did something wrong and sad he was in this huge mess. I am not siding with anyone, I believe in the truth.

I wish it was someone else. I feel bad for feeling this way but I've seen other past celebrities caught in a similar situation and it doesn't end well. Park Shi Hoo case was dropped but his image is forever tainted and Kim Hyun Joong mess is awful.

This is just too much for me to handle. I just want to believe that this is just a nightmare and I can wake up from it.

Fucking frustrated dudes and girls.. if you are fucking horny for some love, do yourself a favour by just fucking masturbate. Get into therapy or  get a better hobby. you are a fucking human not an uncontrollable beast. Don't go messing around with other people that don't want you!

Misaeng

First of all, I need to say thank you to all the team that translate the drama. I think the dialogues in this drama must have been difficult to translate because it was a lot of business and trade jargon.

I read a lot of rave review about this drama but I come without expectation because I knew that love story isn't strong in this drama. I just wanted to know what is the hype was. I thought.. oh this drama is kinda boring...but I find myself already at episode 5, and wants to watch the next episode.

On top of unfamiliar terms and no experience working in an office environment, I don't know why a person like me would watch the drama. I think the drama is character driven so I find myself relating to each characters.

"what have you been doing for the past 26 years?"

when that line was said out to Geu Rae (Siwan) I could feel my heart wrenching because I can totally relate to the statement. I don't know what I've been doing either. I feel so small whenever that lines comes around.

Baek Ki (Kang Ha Neul)looks a lot like my first crush. Men who looks good in glasses is my weakness. I was helplessly in love with Baek Ki, no matter how jealous or petty he was, I can't hate him. I thought his character is absolutely realistic. I've seen people like him before.

Apart from the fact she is a female.. I don't think I could relate to Young Yi (Kang So Ra) character. I do feel sorry for her troubles but I think she is a girl crush material all the way. I don't get why Mr. Ha being so hard on her. She is so gorgeous and intelligent, please don't disturb her!!

The crazy dog, Suk Yool (Byun Yo Han). He reminds me of Heechul so much, I don't hate him at all. I love his love for Geurae. I was so sad when he chopped his hair because it is not Suk Yool without the long bob. Yeah, he looked better with the haircut but it's boring and Suk Yool is never boring.

Our Dong Shik...why isn't he married by the last episode??? Opps spoiler. He is such a teddy bear sweetheart, I don't get why he isn't taken. If he exist in real life, I think he would definitely get married for sure.

I feel quite empty now that I have finished Misaeng in less than a week. I seriously lack of sleep and I might just withhold watching drama for a bit. I have a long list of  anticipating dramas though. I think I might quit after Another Miss Oh ends. I hope the day never comes and Another Miss Oh will continue to show forever.

Let's Eat 2

If it wasn't for DooJoon and Seo Hyun Jin, I might not choose to watch this drama because I am not a foodie. I like food but I can eat whatever that is convenient. I don't like queuing up for food, if I am at the food court, I will never choose the one I need to line up.

All the food shots were pretty but all that eating scene is kinda over the top for me. I don't like watching people eat or the fact people see me eat. I skip all the eating part. I like the random fact on food and the difference style of eating between Dae Young and SooJi.

The side love story is typical. I thought it was predictable as usual. The mystery element was annoying. I didn't think it was necessary but maybe others like it. I did like the villa stories, and the Pomeranian with a lot of nickname, (Dog, Happy and JooYoung) was so adorable.

Kwon Yool seems to like to play the character a lot. I feel like the past dramas I've seen him on seems like the same person. I think he suits those role well but I can see him playing a villain someday. I hope he would expend to other type of character some day.

Doo Joon is very much like Dae Yeong. I see no difference. So many Beast reference and I love Yoseobie cameos!

Perhaps because I'm quite obsess with Another Miss Oh, I don't find the chemistry berween Seo Hyun Jin with Kwon Yool and Doo Joon works for me. For some odd reason I thought she looked a little different on this drama that in Another Miss Oh. I think she got prettier lately.. maybe, SHE AND ERIC ARE DATING??? lol

I've been seeing Hwang Suk Jung everywhere! I was watching Misaeng, Let's Eat 2 and Mr. Jo Deul Ho at similar time.. imagine the confusion. haha

Shut up & Groove

Dean can do no wrong in my books. I don't how he does it but he is my answer to music. I apologize for starting this post with Dean although this is Heize song. I have not check the credits yet but I'm pretty sure Dean wrote and produce the song because it sounds like him a lot.

I was a bit surprised to hear her sing. I recognize her name from Unpretty Rapstar, I have not watched the show but I do read articles on it because of my interest in Korean hip hop. I thought she did well. It isn't my first listen to Heize, she did a collaboration with Chen earlier on this year I think for SM Staton.. It wasn't my favorite song. I don't really enjoy her raps.

The singing method that Heize used in the song I find a bit annoying because it can sound nasally at times but I cannot deny that it actually works. It has a lot of groove and it works well against Dean's voice.

Her rap part in the song almost felt non existence.. it was as if she just speeds up a verse that sound like she was sing-talk. I don't mind it, I think it's cool if rappers don't rap in every song. I have one complain on the song. What's with the bark?? Sure it fits the song but it kinda breaks the mood for me.

Dean's ad-libs are on point. Some singers can overdone it but not this fella. He is so good. I wish he got more popular and do more TV appearance so I can watch his performance more often. From the not many video found, I think his LIVE performance is too good to be true.

If Heize continues to keep on doing similar things, I'll be interested to learn more about her. I don't know if I could have high hopes just because I like 1 song.

Drama progress

I'm currently watching completed Let's Eat 2, Misaeng, It's Okay It's Love, Bubblegum and Marriage Contract.

It's a lot. My life is a mess trying to keep up with these dramas on top of currently ongoing dramas.. just for the record, I'm watching Another Miss Oh, Lucky Romance, Dear My Friends and Beautiful GongShim.

I decided to drop Entertainer and it marks the first time I'm dropping a drama when I'm quite far long into the drama, I stop around episode 8.  I'm waiting for the romance part to progress quickly before picking it up again. Reviews are saying it gets better. Dear My Friends actually turn for the better for me. I still think the plot are so scary and terrifying but I felt like the grandmas are too charming to drop this drama so I'm going to complete the ride.

Lucky Romance is kinda a bust for me because I came in with too high expectation. Am I expecting too much that I feel no chemistry on the 1st episode that is making me feel the bubble has fizzled out? I mean.. I just saw the promotional poster for Suzy and Kim Woo Bin's Drama and it was on FIRE.. Now I'm quite pessimistic on that drama. haha

I'm afraid of Another Miss Oh. I'm going to enjoy it for the moment but I have a bad feeling. T_T Beautiful GongShim is something I watch to kill time and it's painfully predictable...except for Ahn Dan Tae. I think I might drop this drama because I feel like I watch this kind of drama over and over again.

Let me spoil it for you. Ahn Dan Tae is Joon Pyo. Gong Shim will date Joonsu but she ends up with Dan Tae. Joonsu will be the villain in the drama. His parents would probably want him to marry Gong Mi. Gong Mi will learn a lesson. GongShim would either end up working in the kitchen or continue painting.

Bottom line, I don't think that this drama would surprise me at all.

Neighbourhood Lawyer Mr. Jo Deul Ho

When it comes to Korean drama, I like to stick with the usual romantic comedy or melodrama because I like the familiarity. However the recent years I think Korean drama has evolved to be more than just the typical poor girl meets chaebol heir.

However I admit that I'm still quite sceptical on law drama because of past dramas I have seen, It's not really memorable..I don't have a great memory to begin with but I remember wanting so much for a love story on Kim Hyun Joo and Lee Dong Wook in Partners.. I watch I can see you voice only remembering the love story and the scary ajushhi.

I was going to pass on Neighbourhood Lawyer Mr. Jo Deul Ho because it was based on a webtoon and I'm a bit bitter after Cheese in the Trap. After DotS was done, I was surfing around to find a good drama to watch and read a lot of good reviews on this drama so I got curious and end up watching 8 episode straight.

Another reason I didn't want to watch the drama is because the leading man and lady had a jarring age gap. I don't really have problem with couples with wide age gap but honestly I just don't want to feel uncomfortable. Thankfully the leads are not a couple but a partner in work. Love story is put in the back burner so if you're looking for that maybe skip this drama?

To kill time, I enjoyed the drama. I personally find the drama is a bit draggy at the end. I'm not trying to be logical but some scene is quite the stretch. I wished Kang Sora's presence is more prominent. The humor antic are fun and adds color to the drama.

I'm really glad they didn't end up extending the drama. It was reported to extend 4 drama because the following drama had a bit of problem.. I thought it was going to end at 16 episode.

First Impression : Dear My Friend

I was pretty hyped to watch this star studded drama but I feel like I'm going to drop it so I'm writing this post to record it down.

I don't think the story is engaging enough for me to follow. I do love an ensemble kind of drama but I couldn't relate to the drama.. which is kinda odd because I live next door to my grandparents. I'm quite close to my late grandmother.. somehow the drama doesn't reminds me of her and I was probably looking for some comfort in this drama.  Go Hyun Jung character is not my favorite, realistic? probably but a little annoying.

The cameos are something else though, Jo In Sung and Daniel Henney are such eye candy. Should I stay for it? haha

I probably will watch another 2 episode before completely dropping the drama.

My life as a Kpop fanatic and Kdrama addict.

As soon as I wake up the first thing I grab is my phone. Doesn't matter WiFi or data, I need my news fast. I go to my top websites and scroll down to read comments. I think this is an odd side to Kpop fans, The comment section is the place to get all the information. I've been a regular at the side for years and it honestly feels same old but I still read it habitually because I know there's a gold information that cannot be missed. I do this through out the day until before I go to bed. I think at least 10 times a day. There's a notification app for it but I prefer refreshing the page.

I listen to Kpop in the morning and sometimes before bed. I may be at home walking the dog or while waiting for schedules to finish. If I'm doing some light chores, I might listen to Kpop too.

My cable have all the basic Korean channel but only 2 stations I am subscribed. KBS and SBS. I'm not a big fan of SBS variety show so I usually don't watch. I would record dramas and variety show. If I am bored, I'll go through recording for about 3 hours each day. The most is probably 5 hours.

I watched drama through out the day. My new years resolution was to watch as much drama as I can so I'm keeping myself busy with it. I don't really watch an episode till finish. I usually watch and pause a lot. I like to research on the actors on the drama  and reads reviews on dramabeans. 1 episode probably take me 2 hours to finish between breaks.

For my blog, I try to blog more frequently this year as to document all the dramas I have watched.

So you probably be thinking, what do I do for a living that most of my time is spent on Kpop? I'm a full time caregiver.. so I'm either at home or hospital, I waste a lot of time waiting so I kill time with Kpop. I have a maid that does house chores, I only do food, medication and other routines involving pets. I have 3 rather large ponds and 6 dogs.

I'm technically like a Korean Ahjumma.

Splash Splash Love

Splash Splash Love is a webdrama that is aired in MBC as 2 episode. It is a fantasy sageuk (traditional) drama staring Kim Seul Gi and DooJoon of Beast.

It tells a story of a 3rd year student who feels like her bad luck keep on looming upon her and she wanted an escape. She prayed hard and noticed a suspicious looking puddle of water that was resulted from the rain. She jumps into the water and it transported her to a different time period. It was Joseon. Joseon era had a serious draught problem with no rain for 3 years. They were doing rain ceremony to call on the rain gods.Suddenly the student drops from heaven. The only way home is for the rain to come.

Heol. I'm bad at summarizing without giving away spoilers.

I usually avoid sageuk because I don't feel like researching for Korean history. The drama requires no Korean history knowledge (though it would be fun) and so I enjoyed the drama. The hilarity of the time difference is quite funny and the romance is adorable.

Definitely would be rewatching this drama in the near future.

Ms. Temper and Nam Jung Gi

The drama is about the two different individual with same intergrity values that strive to get on top without compromising on their values. Ms Temper is Ok Da Jung's nickname who is a upright charismatic leader that strive to succeed without resolving to dirty tactic. Nam Jung Gi is a timid talented hard-working worker who avoid conflict by giving into the situation to avoid confrontation.

I enjoyed the drama for it's realism and the issue brought up in the drama has familiarity
but the delivery is refershing. Nam Jung Gi's character isn't really interesting but Ms.Temper is very interesting. Nothing like a admirable girl crush can lifted one's spirit.

At times I feel stressed watching the drama because I am able to emphatize on the problems face by the staffs. I lack in working experience in life so I could only guess that the drama cover almost all the characteristic of the office workers. I think my favorite side character is Deputy Park because he is still quite charming despite his flaws. I could see his character like how Nam Jung Gi cared for him. My least favorite character happen to be MiRi which is so odd for me to say because my name is very similar to her name. Aside the fact she is quite talented at her job.. I can't relate to her character at all.

The drama airs at a cable station but the rating is quite low even by cable standards. I think the problems lies on the fact that it's quite a burden to watch for those who work. As someone with a lot of leisure, I still find the drama quite stressful. When Ms. Ok's mother got sick, I wonder how it would be like if I was working. I am a fulltime caregiver so I just feel like I can't do what Ms. Ok does but in a way, I understand that everyone have their own problem. It is not fair because due to personal matter that we should drop everything without consideration for others.

Looking at Nam Jung Gi being a slave to his job is so disheartening because it made me wonder why do he work so hard to feed his family but he does not see much of his family. What is the meaning of family? Just provide enough money to live and be satisfied? I am no position to judge though. It's just life throwing salt on you.

Acting and story wise, I still think that the drama is worth the time I spent on. It's refreshing change from the usual drama I've watch.

Memory

Memory is a drama about a lawyer name Park Tae Seok played by Lee Seung Min who battles Alzheimer's disease. Upon realizing his fate, he rediscover his new purpose in life by doing what he should have done in the past and trying to undo his mistake.

Alzheimer is currently uncurable disease that only get worse over the time, the relevation of the disease to his close ones and the how his support team accepted his disease was truly admirable. The balance of empathy and wanting to be strong from the support team is beautifully done. I could not rewrite the scene any better than what the writer has done. I am amazed to see how everyone is coping with the news differently but in the same time, they were very realistic.

I enjoyed how his role as a lawyer is played. He is a humane lawyer disguise as a cruel lawyer. This is a spoiler that I want to share. In the first 2 episode, he is a lawyer without mercy and uses any tactic to ensure he wins in the court. It becomes his regret to be such lawyer and he grows into a better lawyer. His tragic past was really sad but it was a part that drives him to push through his struggle.

I didn't think I would end up liking this drama so much.

Based on summary alone, I didn't think I could started watching but I knew that Lee Sung Min is a great actor and I wanted to support (heh..suddenly feel guilty, I will buy the DVD la) by watching the drama (oooh wait, I DID. by watching tvN's YT channel). I wanted to drop after the 2nd episode but I am so glad I was bored enough to just continue it.

Memory draws a comparison with another Law/Alzheimer theme drama Remember Son's War starring Yoo Seung Ho and Park Min Young. That drama is the one I didn't bother...because I got to know that Park Min Young paired up with Yoo Seung Ho and that deflated my interest on watching the show. The drama didn't do well in ratings.. I guess partly because it was a follow up drama to Signal. Which is ashamed because this drama is a masterpiece.

I think the balance between law and Alzheimer part was done well. I kinda hated the fact they emphasize on his disease being an early stage but his symptoms is very advance. Drama, you want to give me hope or lose hope ah? My favorite part is how the relevation of the disease was out but Park Tae Seok had so much dignity that it doesn't bother him one bit.

Right there, he may be just a fictional character but I just want to applaud how dignified a person he is. The drama is like the perfectly flawed world that I want to live in.

This drama is humane and may not be everyone's cup of tea but I don't regret my time on watching this drama at all. Great job overall to the director, writers, actors and everyone involved in this drama.

If you have the time to spare, watch this drama. It's a beautiful story.

Page Turner

I knew I love this drama even before I watch it.

Page Turner is a 3 episodes drama that tells a story on 3 aspiring pianist overcoming their shortcomings. It stars Kim So Hyun who played dual role in School 2015 and Sassy Go Go Baek Ho team mates, JiSoo and Shin Jae Ha.

The irony of me hating School 2015 and LOVED Sassy Go Go. haha I adored Kim So Hyun, who by the way is Park Yoo Chun reel sister (they had dramas often together) so I just naturally love her as well.

I didn't know what to expect but I was hoping that Jisoo get the girl this time but the romance part of the story is not strong. I think school love life is a bit trickier to write on?

There is a bit of a miracle part of the story but this is fiction so no need to think so much on that said miracle. I find all the characters are light hearted despite the grim situation. 3 episode may seem a little but I though it was good enough not to be draggy.

For a short drama, this is an excellent drama. I wouldn't mind watching puppy Jisoo again. Shin Jae Ha is a good actor and I want him to shine further. Kim So Hyun is on her way to be a top actress and I hope she doesn't grow up too soon.

Come Back, Mister

I skipped most of the drama parts that I might as well say I never watch the drama.

I was completely sold on the idea of the drama and I did enjoy the first few episode but I grew out on it very quickly.

I perhaps should have dropped the drama but I continued stayed on because I like Honey Lee and Oh Yeon Seo story and bashfully I'll admit these girls are such girl crush materials. Bromance? Move over, they stole my heart more than Hwang Jung Eum and Go Jun Hee in She Was Pretty.

I wish the characters were not so connected. I think I leave it and there in case you don't want spoilers. There were many aspect of the drama that did not sit well on me and the humor was not my favorite kind. Oddly enough the endearing moments is what made the show bearable. I skipped the humor parts because it made me feel like I was suffering from second hand embarrassment.

The biggest part of the drama were Rain and Lee Min Jung but their characters were my least favorite. I wished there were more parts for Honey Lee.

I wonder how it would fare without Descendant of the Sun competition... but I rather watch DOTS if I had to choose.

Descendant of the Sun review

I think from the get go that this drama was set to be a legendary drama.

The drama writer is notoriously famous for cringe-worthy lines and her past project has been a runaway hit. Add Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo to the mix, the drama is very hyped and it's certainly worth the hype.

I still don't quite get the title of the drama but it was such an awesome ride during the airing of this drama. I think nobody can disagree that this is the drama that define 2016. Okay maybe Signal can challenge that but in terms of popularity.. DOTS wins hands down.

Honestly I doubt the pairing of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo because Song Hye Kyo is such a big sunbae, and I wasn't sure how they were going to note that HyeKyo is the Noona in the relationship. I mean Song Hye Kyo is very youthful but her experience is more extensive than
Song Joong Ki. I thought the drama did a good justice on that. Fun fact, both of them hosted Music Bank before. What a coincident!

I guess I mainly stayed for Kim Jiwon who is like one of my girl crush and I did quite like Jingoo in Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek. I had no idea he is a married man with a son because his chemistry with Kim JiWon was so believable.

I know nothing about military life but medical part, I'm quite familiar because I'm a caregiver that goes to hospital a lot. I just can't stand seeing all the medical flaws in the drama but I just going to keep an eye shut because well no one is ever perfect. The ending though.. is silly.

Why play with people's heart?

One thing is for sure that I won't be waiting for a Season 2. The ending somewhat gives way for a season 2 but nope. enough for me.

130 mood : TRBL by DΞΔN 1st EP

1. 어때 (Eottae) Outro

For me, intro of the song is the one that determine whether I would like the song or not and I've never been happier to be wrong in this theory. I still don't quite having sound effect in music but as I really listen to the lyrics, it is actually very clever. Dean's intention of taking the listener to a movie experience is execute perfectly. Although Outro is the antonym for Intro, I think this song is a good introduction of what to come.

2. 풀어  (Puleo) Pour Up (feat. ZICO) (released as a single in 2015)

I know that this song is about sexy stuff but I thought 풀어  (Puleo) is the Koreanized way of saying Pour Up.. it actually means released making the song even sexier. haha I think Dean is high when he wrote the song. It has a bit of psychedelic elements to it. Maybe he was trying to convey that special moment at it's peak? MUAHAHA I have no idea what I just wrote but the song don't sound like coming from a sober person. The build up tension towards the chorus made me think of the scenario of the song.

3. Bonnie & Clyde

Another song with a sound effect in the intro but I learnt my lesson and continued listening. I actually don't know the history of Bonnie & Clyde. All I know they are icon of lovers relationship. I'm getting a bit of eerie and haunting vibe from the song. I particularly like the ending of the song/ The editing of the vocals that have a slight echo made it kind of cool. It's not my favorite song of the album but I do enjoy listening to the song.

4. What2do (feat Crush, Jeff Bernat)

I have blogged this before but I think I wrote that post only after a few listen so this is the updated review. I still find a bit of struggle to differentiate between Dean and Crush voice. Individually they do sound different but when they come together, they sound very similar.

5. D (Half Moon) (feat.개코 Gaeko) *TITLE

I had to share this video because it's so perfect and flawless to the point of me doubting this is really live. It feels like he ate the CD. I dare say this is way better than the studio version. I love the lullaby effect to this song. I'm not sleepy because the song is boring, far from it. This song has a calming effect that just takes all my stress away. If the song had a scent, it would be lavender. I did enjoy the studio version with Gaeko but this version is my favorite.

6. I Love It (feat. Dok2) (released in 2015)

This song is one of my most played song on my playlist of 2015. Dok2 part is my favorite because it add an interesting contrast. I do enjoy the playfulness of Dean in the song, the song has a lot of ad libs that I really like sing a long to and the rhythm is a good pace. It's quite easy but it's a danceable track.

7. 21 Intro

If Dean is looking for a younger lover, I'm sad. I'm older than he is so I kinda don't like the song. Overall the vibe is fun and full of tease. This song was an instant love because it's the only one of the newer track that doesn't have sound effect.

Overall Comment

Solid. Definitely would purchase the album in the future.

Twenty Again

Memory and Pied Piper were on a heavy side so I decided to start something light and watch Twenty Again.

Episode 1 was good enough for me so I continued till the end. For the first part I was excited for it..the later honestly felt draggy. I could empathize with Ha No Ra but it's a bit too frustrating as a viewer who is expecting more romance. It's more focus on slice of life which is great but I was in for the romance and they only began the romance at the final episode.

Naeun's character is clingy as heck. Hyemi and MinSoo romance did nothing for me. I mostly skipped their part. I wish Minsoo had more part with his mother. I went to same school with my brother but we don't acknowledge each other. lol Not that I was embarrassed by him but we just very different from each other. I just don't want to make him look worse. hahaha.

I was a bit sad when the way they portrayed how college life was.. I was dreaming of studying in Korea later on in life so I was afraid that it would be my future. Thankfully I read the Korean netizen response that actual college is nothing like that. They seem very positive with mature students and that made me happy.

Lee Sang Yeon was a cutie. Choi Ji Woo is a bit frustrating. I am a crybaby myself but I find it's weird that she's crying so much and for a second, I thought I was watching a melodrama.

Jay Park The truth is

The truth is.. I never noticed Jay Park in 2PM.. Back then, JunHo was my bias for stupid reason that he kinda look like Rain. hahaha.

I wished I made Jay Park as my bias then because right now I feel like kicking myself for liking anyone else but Jay Park. The way the scandal goes was bad but I'm glad that we are where we are right now because of that incident.

Now Jay Park is part of my list of "MUST LISTEN"

I couldn't embed the video directly from blogger but do watch the official video on YouTube. The video itself is already subbed via CC and so please do support it!

Don't click the video above, it's still the correct song but I would prefer you to watch it directly on YouTube because that is part of what you can do to support Jay Park.

First Impression : Pied Piper

I love Shin Ha Kyun, I really do but I cannot make myself engage to this drama. It's just doesn't make me curious at all.

For non romance genre, I find myself wanting to be at least curious about what's going to happen next, not feeling like wanting the drama to be over already when it's only the first episode.

This might sound strange but I find the amount of English used in the first episode very off putting. I know.. I'm that person who searches for Korean celeb speaking in English for fun but this drama made me do the opposite. I don't think the English is bad because I do come from a country that has English as second language, broken English doesn't feel odd. On a daily basis, you won't hear me speaking proper English but I can be fluent though.

I could actually relate to the drama a bit.. Kidnap incident do happen in my country. Which doesn't help my curiosity.

I was excited for the drama because I do like the cast, Shin Ha Kyun was amazing in Brain, I thought thriller would be up in his ally. However there are part that makes him seems less cool and it kinda tarnish the image I have of him which is the biggest factor of me dropping this drama. I finally get why netizen dislike character like Jo Yoon Hee. I like it in My Husband Got A Family, but in this drama I just cannot see someone who is supposedly top in the class but is not 100% confident. I want a girl crush.. not someone that I need to take care of.

I will keep on checking the reviews of this show until the end. I hope it does gets better but for now, I'm not going to watch it anymore.
